Systems and Storage Engineer

About the role

We're looking for a Systems and Storage Engineer to join our IT/OT Engineering team, working on enterprise storage, server and infrastructure projects for clients operating in some of the toughest environments in Australia. You will design, deploy, remediate and support enterprise storage and server solutions, with a strong focus on NetApp and Pure Storage platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Configure, deploy, upgrade and test enterprise storage, server, cloud and infrastructure solutions.
• Administer NetApp ONTAP (FAS and AFF) storage, including SnapMirror, SnapVault and CIFS/NFS provisioning.
• Administer Pure Storage FlashArray and FlashBlade, handling provisioning, replication and performance tuning.
• Build and support Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS and DHCP services.
• Deploy Azure IaaS/SaaS, Microsoft 365 and hybrid identity solutions.
• Provide VMware vSphere and Cisco UCS administration and support.

Required profile

• At least five years of experience as a Systems, Storage or Infrastructure Engineer.
• Hands‑on experience with NetApp ONTAP and Pure Storage platforms.
• Strong background in Windows Server, Active Directory and Azure/Microsoft 365 environments.
• Experience with VMware vSphere and Cisco UCS.
• Exposure to IT/OT environments, preferably in mining or resources sectors.
• Relevant IT qualification or equivalent experience and clear written communication skills.
