About the role
Megaport is seeking a Frontend Software Engineer to join its Engineering team. The role will focus on building and enhancing the Megaport Portal and other internal and customer‑facing web applications.
Key responsibilities
- Develop new features and maintain existing applications using a modern frontend stack.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Implement and improve code architecture, processes, and design principles.
- Create unit, integration, and end‑to‑end tests with Playwright and Vitest.
- Contribute to the high‑quality codebase while meeting implementation goals.
Required profile
- Proven experience building high‑performance web applications.
- Strong understanding of W3C standards and web accessibility.
- Ability to work in a collaborative, fast‑paced environment.
Required skills
- Vue 3 (and/or Nuxt)
- Angular or React (experience with other frameworks is a plus)
- TypeScript
