Front Office Duty Manager (Super Host) - Pre-Opening

About the role

Punthill Brisbane Airport is a new hotel opening on 30 November 2026, located in Brisbane's airport and trade precinct. It will start with 38 apartment-style apartments and expand to more than 130 across three stages. The Super Host acts as the operational heartbeat and leadership face of the hotel, reporting directly to the Hotel Manager, and blends hands-on team management, rostering and front office operations with a welcoming approach.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the front office, including complaint escalation and problem-solving, team management and training, rostering and timesheet approvals
• Deliver a high level of guest service at check-in, check-out and during the stay, setting the standards for the hotel
• Tailor guest experiences to create lasting impressions
• Identify new sales leads and encourage the team to do the same
• Manage emergency situations safely and professionally
• Build strong relationships with teammates and guests
• Support the Hotel Manager with higher-level management and admin tasks

Required profile

• Approved Australian working rights (citizenship, permanent residency or visa with approved working rights)
• First Aid Certificate, or willingness to obtain one within the first month
• Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate, or willingness to obtain one within the first month
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including public holidays and weekends on rotation
• Demonstrated experience leading a team and handling escalated complaints
• Current, valid Australian open driver's licence
