Casual Food Service Support Officer

About the role

Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane is establishing a talent pool of Food Service Support Officers within its Operational Services team. This is a casual, non-standard hours position that helps keep essential hospital food services running smoothly. It is an expression of interest: details of interested people are kept in the talent pool for up to three months and may be contacted when a matching opportunity arises.

Key responsibilities

• Help deliver quality food services by preparing meal ingredients and portioning meals
• Clean kitchen areas and equipment
• Provide customer-focused service in staff dining, cafeteria and ward settings
• Work with colleagues and clinical staff to maintain high standards of service, cleanliness, safety and efficiency
• Follow established procedures and workplace health and safety requirements
