Front of House Staff - Casual

About the role

Six Degrees Albany is a multi-service hospitality venue in Albany combining a bar, restaurant and accommodation, with live music and a bold menu. It is recruiting Front of House staff on a casual basis to deliver guest experiences in a fast-paced, high-energy venue.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service and engage guests to create memorable, personalised experiences.
• Prepare and serve coffee and espresso-based beverages to a high standard; barista skills are essential.
• Prepare and serve cocktails and other beverages in line with venue standards; training provided for the right candidate.
• Operate POS and booking systems accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming and organised service environment.
• Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house team members during service.
• Support venue set-up and pack-down before and after opening and closing.
• Adhere to RSA requirements and venue compliance policies, and handle cash and card transactions accurately.

Required profile

• Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate (must).
• Barista certification or demonstrated barista experience (must).
• Minimum 12 months' front of house experience in hospitality (must).
• Current police check required before starting.
• Availability Thursday to Sunday for lunch or dinner shifts is highly regarded; additional weekday availability welcome.

Required skills

• Consistently producing high-quality espresso-based drinks.
• Cocktail skills highly regarded; training provided.
• Familiarity with POS systems and booking software (Now Book It experience advantageous; training on the new system Zinga will be provided).
• Strong communication, multitasking and teamwork skills.
