Front-end Engineer (React)

About the role

Fetch is building a pink app that brings insurance, health and care to modern pet parents. We are looking for a Front‑end Engineer who is obsessed with craft, cares about how things look, feel and behave, and wants to create beautiful product experiences for pet owners and vets.

Key responsibilities

• Set and raise the quality bar for UI, working closely with design and product to ship polished, fast, and intuitive experiences.
• Build delightful UI in React, evolve our design system (components, tokens, accessibility patterns) and improve performance, rendering and perceived speed.
• Use AI tools daily to accelerate development without compromising quality, and collaborate tightly with product, design, ops and vets to deliver outcomes.

Required profile

• Early‑to‑mid‑career engineer with 3–5 years of front‑end product experience.
• Strong eye for layout, spacing, motion and visual polish; uncompromising on exceptional design.
• Product‑thinking mindset, caring about user goals over mere implementation.
