About the role
Join IQVIA's Translation Services team as a freelance Xhosa‑to‑English translator, working on life‑sciences content for a global audience.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver translated content for clinical trial documents and other life‑sciences materials in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with a global industry leader to ensure high‑quality language delivery across target markets.
Required profile
- Native fluency in English (target language) and fluency in Xhosa (source language), both spoken and written.
- At least 1 year of experience translating, reviewing, and editing life‑sciences content, clearly detailed in your CV.
- University degree in translation/linguistics with ≥2 years experience, OR no degree with ≥5 years experience.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and work independently.
Required skills
- Proficiency with translation management systems.
- Experience using CAT tools.
- Prior experience with a translation or localisation company (desirable).
