Freelance Portuguese-to-English Translator for Life Sciences

About the role
IQVIA is seeking freelance translators who can convert Portuguese life‑science content into English. You will work with a global leader in analytics and clinical research, delivering translation projects for clinical trial documents and other regulated materials.
Required profile
- Native fluency in English (target language) and fluency in Portuguese (source language).
- At least 1 year of experience translating, reviewing, and editing life‑science content, with specific document types listed on your CV.
- University degree in translation or linguistics with ≥2 years of experience, OR no degree with ≥5 years of translation experience.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and work independently.
- Prior experience with a translation or localisation company is desirable but not essential.
Required skills
- Proficiency with translation management systems.
- Experience using CAT tools.
