Freelance App Developer – AI Trainer

About the role

DataAnnotation is seeking experienced freelance app developers to join its AI training team. You will work remotely on a flexible schedule, creating and solving coding challenges that help improve state‑of‑the‑art AI models. The role blends Android development, problem‑solving, and data‑driven feedback to shape next‑generation intelligent systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement diverse coding problems focused on Android app development for AI training.
• Write clear, high‑quality code snippets and detailed explanations.
• Evaluate AI‑generated code for accuracy, performance, and readability.
• Provide constructive feedback that directly influences AI model improvements.
• Analyze results and visualize insights to support ongoing model refinement.

Required profile

• Fluent English (native or bilingual level).
• Bachelor’s degree completed or in progress.
• Previous experience as a software developer, coder, or programmer.
• Ability to work independently on a remote, hourly‑based contract.

Required skills

• Kotlin (preferred for Android development).
• JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, C, C#, C++, React, Go, Java, Swift.
• Android development concepts and best practices.
