FP&A Analyst

About the role

ABN Group, a building, property and home finance company founded over 45 years ago, is hiring an experienced FP&A Analyst for its Group Finance team in the Docklands office. Reporting to the General Manager – FP&A, the role supports financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and performance reporting across the business, working with Finance Business Partners, business unit leaders and senior stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Support the preparation and delivery of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts and financial plans across the Group
• Analyse financial and operational performance, identifying trends, risks, opportunities and areas for improvement
• Develop and maintain financial models for scenario planning, business cases and strategic decisions
• Prepare financial reports, dashboards and presentations for senior leadership
• Coordinate annual Group budgeting timelines and ensure accurate, timely submissions
• Maintain and enhance corporate cost allocation models
• Partner with Finance Business Partners and business leaders on performance drivers and business planning
• Identify improvements to financial reporting, processes and the use of data and analytics

Required profile

• Previous experience as an FP&A Analyst, Finance Analyst or similar, ideally in a large or complex organisation
• Finance or Accounting qualification such as CA, CPA or equivalent
• Demonstrated experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting and performance analysis
• Strong commercial acumen and attention to detail
• Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to finance and non-finance audiences

Required skills

• Advanced Excel, including complex financial models and scenario analysis
• Power BI, financial dashboards and data visualisation
