About the role
As an FP&A Analyst at Australian Payments Plus, you will support Finance Business Partners by delivering financial analysis, reporting and insights that drive better business decisions. You will work across budgeting, forecasting, financial reviews and commercial activities, turning data into clear, actionable recommendations.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and report on budgeting, forecasting and financial business reviews, focusing on profitability drivers.
- Analyse financial and operational performance, identify variances and trends, and translate them into clear insights.
- Support commercial agreements and business cases with accurate financial analysis.
- Partner with operational teams and Finance Business Partners to understand needs and provide practical financial support.
- Maintain strong financial controls and ensure compliance with finance policies, accounting, tax and treasury requirements.
Required profile
- Undergraduate degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or related field.
- Up to 3 years of experience in a similar finance role.
- CPA/CA qualification or working towards it.
- Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
Required skills
- Financial analysis and interpretation of metrics.
- Budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Cost management, variance analysis and control.
- Basic understanding of financial risk management.
