Foreperson – Landscape & Civil Construction

About the role

CivilandScape is seeking an experienced foreperson to lead landscape and civil works on a variety of projects across Sydney’s inner city and outer suburbs. The role involves supervising construction activities, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and maintaining high-quality workmanship.

Key responsibilities

• Read and interpret construction plans to guide on‑site activities.
• Undertake all aspects of landscape construction, both hard and soft landscaping.
• Present professionally when liaising with clients and the public.
• Coordinate with the team to ensure projects are completed on time and to specification.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar foreperson role (commercial and residential landscaping).
• Sound understanding of WHSE and ability to operate in line with NSW WHSE practices.
• Landscape Trade Qualification.
• Current White Card (NSW).
• Valid NSW driver’s licence.
• High level of attention to detail and ability to multi‑task.

What we offer

• Standard working hours 7:00 am – 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday (overtime and Saturdays as required).
• Annual salary commensurate with experience.
