Food Services Assistant

About the role

Calvary Holmesglen Private Hospital in Moorabbin is looking for reliable and motivated Food Services Assistants to deliver a high standard of food service to patients. Meals are prepared, presented and delivered safely and efficiently, making a meaningful difference to the patient experience. This is a casual position with shifts available according to operational requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with meal preparation, tray assembly and patient meal distribution
• Ensure food safety, hygiene and dietary requirements are consistently maintained
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen facilities, equipment and food services areas

Required profile

• Previous food service experience, preferably in healthcare
• Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
• Reliable, flexible and able to work within a team
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Positive attitude and good communication skills
