Food & Beverage Attendant – Luxury Hotel Venue

About the role

The Food & Beverage Attendant at Aperture, the flagship venue of Capella Sydney, delivers Capella’s signature level of service to guests throughout the day. You will create memorable dining experiences by anticipating guest needs, offering personalised recommendations and ensuring seamless service.

Key responsibilities

• Stay attentive to guests, understand preferences and provide personalised service.
• Recommend menu combinations, upsell alternatives and share daily specials.
• Communicate any dietary requirements, allergies or special requests to the kitchen.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas using clean‑as‑you‑go procedures.
• Arrange tables, linens, glassware, chinaware and cutlery according to event type and service standards.
• Follow proper alcohol service procedures.
• Complete closing duties: store reusable goods, break down items, clean equipment, restock, lock refrigerators and doors, turn off lights and finish the daily cleaning checklist.
• Assist colleagues to ensure proper coverage and prompt guest service.
