FOH Manager & Bar Manager – New Venue Opening

About the role

A new dining and entertainment destination in Bondi Junction, Sydney, is looking for a Front-of-House Manager and Bar Manager. The venue has two bars, an open kitchen and a strong focus on food, drinks and atmosphere, serving casual catch-ups, corporate events and big celebrations. It is a hands-on operational role leading the food and beverage experience, with a planned 38-hour working week and flexibility required during the opening period.

Key responsibilities

• Train and coach the team on the details that make a difference, and establish service standards and the tone of the venue.
• Work closely with the kitchen to deliver seamless service and events.
• Contribute ideas for activations and engage with the community to create a welcoming, vibrant space.
• Shape the service style across two bars, dining and events, and welcome and look after guests.

Required profile

• Leadership experience in a busy restaurant, bar, venue or food and beverage operation.
• Natural ability to connect with guests and bring a team together.
• Hands-on approach to training, coaching and leading service.
• Strong organisation and confidence managing competing priorities.
• Ideas, initiative and a passion for creating memorable experiences.
