About the role

Skipper is seeking an ambitious Finance Manager to own and develop its finance function during a period of rapid growth. Reporting directly to the Co‑Founder who acts as CFO, you will be the sole dedicated finance professional, responsible for end‑to‑end financial operations.

Key responsibilities

Manage month‑end close, financial reporting and forecasting for a multi‑channel business.
Maintain and improve financial systems, processes and controls.
Act as the primary finance liaison across the organisation and with external tax accountants in Australia and the US.
Oversee finops, cash flow management and budgeting activities.
Provide commercial analysis to support strategic decision‑making.

Required profile

CA or CPA qualification.
2‑5 years of finance/accounting experience, preferably in a high‑growth startup environment.
Proven ability to work autonomously and take ownership of finance functions.
Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail.
