Finance Business Partner

About the role

The Finance Business Partner will join Synergy’s Finance Business Partnering team in Perth Central Park. Reporting to the Finance Business Partner Lead, you will work closely with corporate business units to provide trusted financial advice and insights that drive informed decisions and support the company’s strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with corporate business units to deliver financial advice, insights and support for decision‑making.
• Monitor and report actual versus budget and forecast performance, providing variance analysis and commentary on key cost drivers.
• Support forecasting, budgeting and corporate planning activities in line with Synergy’s planning framework.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with leaders, cost‑centre managers and key stakeholders as the primary finance contact.
• Identify and implement continuous‑improvement opportunities to enhance financial processes, reporting and understanding across the business.

Required profile

• CPA/CA qualification (or equivalent) with approximately three years of experience in a financial or management accounting role.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen with the ability to analyse data and drive business performance.
• Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting and corporate planning.
