Finance Analyst – Reporting & Controls

About the role

The Finance Analyst – Reporting & Controls will sit at the heart of More's financial planning, reporting and analysis function. Reporting to the Head of Commercial Finance, you will transform financial and operational data into actionable insights and help drive smarter business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate month‑end timetable, prepare journals, accruals, provisions and complete balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Develop and maintain accounting policies, produce technical position papers and ensure compliance with standards.
• Prepare monthly management reports, analyse variances against budget and forecasts, and highlight trends, risks and opportunities.
• Maintain financial controls, support delegated authority frameworks and assist with external audit deliverables.
• Identify and implement automation opportunities using AI and other tools to improve reporting efficiency.

Required profile

• CA, CPA, part‑qualified or equivalent qualification.
• Experience in FP&A, commercial finance, financial analysis or a similar finance role.
• Strong analytical, financial modelling and problem‑solving skills with advanced Excel capability.
• Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non‑finance stakeholders.
• Commercial curiosity and genuine interest in how a business operates.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel (including complex formulas and modelling).
• Power BI or similar data visualisation tools.
• ERP or financial planning systems.
• AI and automation tools for finance processes.
