Field Service Technician – Materials Handling

About the role

The company is seeking a Field Service Technician to provide breakdown, fault‑finding and maintenance support across the Gold Coast and Brisbane region. You will travel to customer sites, using the latest tools and a fully maintained service vehicle.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to breakdowns and perform fault finding on fixed or mobile plant equipment and automotive assets.
• Carry out scheduled maintenance and provide on‑site customer support.
• Travel to multiple customer locations, spending approximately 90% of the time on the road.

Required profile

• Mechanical Trade Certificate (any mechanical trade).
• Experience with fixed or mobile plant equipment, automotive or similar machinery.
• Current car licence and full working rights in Australia.

Required skills

• Mechanical trade competency.
• Ability to diagnose and repair plant and automotive equipment.
• Safe work practices and good communication.
