Field Service Technician - Healthcare Equipment

About the role

A growing, people-first organisation is looking for a Field Service Technician to support healthcare facilities across Queensland. The role is the go-to specialist for on-site service calls, technical interventions and customer support, ensuring advanced medical technology operates reliably and safely. The technician works independently from a home office.

Key responsibilities

• Install, inspect, troubleshoot, repair and maintain specialised medical equipment at customer sites
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance, equipment upgrades and system checks
• Diagnostics of electrical, mechanical and electronic failures using technical documentation and schematics
• Complete service reports accurately and on time, complying with manufacturer specifications and safety requirements
• Manage service inventory, tools and replacement parts

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of field service experience, ideally in the medical device or healthcare equipment sector
• Valid driver's licence with a clean record and willingness to travel as required
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Highly self-motivated and able to manage a mobile workload independently
