Field Service Technician - Food & Beverage Equipment

About the role

A leading Food and Beverage Systems Supplier, represented by Blackbook Executive, is looking for a Field Service Technician to relocate to Sydney, Australia. The role is central to delivering high-quality aftersales service and technical support, supporting customers throughout the lifecycle of their equipment, including maintenance, troubleshooting and complex overhaul of machinery.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance and respond promptly to emergency service requests.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair equipment on-site and via remote support.
• Provide technical assistance for mechanical and electrical systems.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Deliver basic operator training on equipment use and preventive maintenance best practices.
• Collaborate with Sales, Spare Parts and Projects teams with technical expertise and service insights.

Required profile

• Mechanical trade qualification.
• Experience in food, liquid or beverage manufacturing.
• Valid driver's licence and willingness and ability to travel interstate.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting capability and knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
• Customer-focused, professional and hardworking.
