About the role
MACA Mining, a Thiess company, is looking for HD Fitters to join its Beebyn mine site on a 2/1 roster. The site serves Fenix Resources, which owns the Beebyn W11 open pit mine in the Murchison region of Western Australia, about 710 km northeast of Perth. The fleet includes Komatsu PC 1250, Komatsu HD785-7, CAT D9T track dozer and CAT 16H grader.
Required profile
- Australian recognised trade certificate
- Experience with surface mining equipment fleets (Komatsu, CAT)
- Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose faults and carry out preventative and breakdown maintenance
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently
- Good knowledge of work health and safety procedures and policies
