Executive Assistant to General Managers

About the role

Join the Retail Operations Domain at CommBank as an Executive Assistant supporting two General Managers and their teams. You will work in a fast‑paced environment, helping senior leaders stay focused on delivering outcomes that matter to customers and colleagues.

Key responsibilities

• Provide professional administrative, secretarial and business support, including diary and inbox management.
• Coordinate meeting preparation, agendas, packs and pre‑reading materials.
• Arrange internal and external meetings, liaise with other Executive Assistants and secure meeting rooms.
• Organise events, functions, off‑sites and team activities, handling catering where required.
• Participate in meetings to capture actions and track follow‑ups.
• Manage domestic and international travel arrangements.

Required profile

• Previous experience as an Executive Assistant supporting senior leaders in banking, consultancy or financial services.
• Ability to manage competing priorities, work under pressure and adapt to changing demands.
• High level of professional judgement and confidence in face‑to‑face, phone and written communication.
• Proactive mindset with exceptional attention to detail and strong customer‑service orientation.

Required skills

• Strong capability with Microsoft Office tools, especially Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience using MS Teams for conferencing and collaboration.
