About the role

The Workplace Injury Commission (WIC) is seeking a highly organised Executive Assistant to provide top‑level support to two members of its Executive Leadership Team in Melbourne. This permanent role offers the chance to contribute to a purpose‑driven statutory authority that assists injured Victorians and their employers.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage complex diaries, schedule meetings and coordinate travel arrangements for senior executives.
  • Oversee the flow of documentation, ensuring timely follow‑up and accurate record‑keeping.
  • Organise and minute a variety of internal and external meetings, distributing action items promptly.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders related to the supported business units.
  • Provide comprehensive executive support services, maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and confidentiality.

Required profile

  • Proven experience supporting multiple senior executives simultaneously.
  • Exceptional planning, organisational and proactive problem‑solving abilities.
  • High level of discretion and sound judgement when handling confidential matters.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the confidence to engage a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Positive, approachable demeanour and a solid work ethic.

Required skills

  • Advanced proficiency in standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
