Events Specialist

About the role

The Events Specialist will support the Events & Partnerships Manager in delivering Myer’s in‑store and off‑site event programme. This role involves end‑to‑end event management, marketing campaign execution and coordination with internal and external partners across the retail portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in planning and executing the annual events calendar, including supplier engagement, budgeting, risk and safety documentation.
• Manage ticketing, guest lists, event timelines and brand partner deliverables to ensure seamless execution.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and agencies to implement event marketing plans and amplify coverage through PR and social channels.
• Maintain compliance with Myer brand guidelines and ensure all stakeholders understand them.
• Prepare post‑event reports and performance analysis.

Required profile

• Proven experience in event planning and coordination, preferably within retail, sport or large‑scale events.
• Strong organisational and project‑management abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple deadlines and adapt to flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Bachelor’s degree in event management, marketing or a related field.
