Events Manager – Major Fundraising Events

About the role

Join Cerebral Palsy Alliance to lead the planning and delivery of high‑value fundraising events that generate income and impact for people with disabilities. Reporting to the Head of Events, you will manage end‑to‑end event execution while collaborating with committees, sponsors, and volunteers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the end‑to‑end planning, delivery and evaluation of complex fundraising events.
• Develop fundraising, engagement and project plans, including budgets, timelines and operational documentation.
• Source, negotiate and manage venues, production partners and suppliers.
• Lead on‑site event operations, managing teams, suppliers and volunteers.
• Manage event communications, registration platforms and CRM data.

Required profile

• At least five years’ experience managing complex events and multiple concurrent workstreams.
• Strong project management, budgeting and revenue forecasting skills.
• Excellent stakeholder, relationship and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to identify risks, make decisions and remain responsive during intensive periods.
• Willingness to travel interstate and work outside standard hours when required.

Required skills

• Experience using CRM systems.
• Familiarity with event registration or online fundraising platforms (e.g., Cvent).
