Brand and Social Specialist

About the role

Marsh is looking for a Brand and Social Specialist to join its Marketing and Communications team. The role is hybrid, based in Sydney (or Melbourne), with at least three days a week in the office. You will own the Pacific organic social media strategy, focusing on LinkedIn and other owned channels.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and tailor the Pacific organic social media strategy for LinkedIn and other owned channels, aligning with brand and business priorities.
• Own the LinkedIn content calendar, planning themes, series and campaigns that support thought leadership and colleague engagement.
• Produce, edit and publish high‑quality content (posts, articles, video scripts, image concepts) and localise global assets.
• Run the employee advocacy program, providing toolkits, training and prompts to boost participation.
• Monitor community engagement, respond or escalate as needed, and identify new engagement opportunities.
• Track performance, maintain dashboards and contribute insights to enterprise reporting cycles.

Required profile

• 3–4+ years of experience in social media, digital communications or related roles, preferably in professional services or a large matrixed organisation.
• Proven expertise in LinkedIn organic strategy, content development and growth tactics.
• Experience delivering LinkedIn‑first campaigns and employee advocacy initiatives.
• Ability to work effectively across functions and partner with Communications, Brand, Marketing, HR, Legal and global teams.
