Estimator – Commercial Construction Projects

About the role

INTREC is seeking an experienced Estimator to join its growing team. You will work closely with the Bid Team to develop accurate, competitive tenders for fit‑out, refurbishment and construction projects valued between $1M and $25M across Australia’s Eastern Seaboard.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare precise cost estimates for commercial projects ranging from $1M to $25M.
• Review tender documentation, scope, risks and commercial requirements.
• Prepare and distribute subcontractor tender packages and engage suppliers.
• Manage tender enquiries, clarifications and RFIs.
• Contribute to tender strategy meetings, programmes and methodologies.
• Produce high‑quality tender submissions and manage bid action plans.
• Maintain accurate tender and estimating documentation.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or related discipline.
• 5+ years estimating experience in commercial construction.
• Experience across fit‑out, refurbishment and/or construction projects.
• Strong construction knowledge and commercial awareness.
• Excellent communication and subcontractor engagement skills.
• Proactive, collaborative approach with ability to meet tight deadlines.
