Estimating Manager – Electrical (Perth)

About the role

Bayliss Engineering Group is seeking an experienced Estimating Manager – Electrical to lead the estimation process for electrical projects in Perth, WA. This full‑time, on‑site position will ensure accurate cost forecasts, timely tender submissions, and strong collaboration with clients and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for electrical projects, analysing drawings, specifications and technical documentation.
• Develop and submit competitive tenders and bids, managing timelines and documentation.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers and internal design/operations teams to gather pricing and technical input.
• Support business development activities by providing cost insights for new opportunities.
• Maintain compliance with safety standards, industry regulations and risk mitigation requirements.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience in electrical estimation and project costing on projects of $5 million +.
• Demonstrated ability to analyse complex drawings and specifications.
• Experience managing subcontractor and supplier relationships.
• Strong organisational, time‑management and problem‑solving abilities.
• Business development exposure is an advantage.
