Senior Planner – Major Projects

About the role

Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced Senior Planner to support major infrastructure programmes across planning, construction and commissioning phases. You will work closely with internal teams, clients and contractors to develop, integrate and monitor project schedules.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate schedule inputs from planning, pre‑construction, construction and commissioning stakeholders.
• Integrate schedules with technical advisors, contractors and subcontractors to ensure seamless programme delivery.
• Track, analyse and report schedule performance, including critical path, DCMA and forecast updates.
• Conduct risk assessments, Earned Value Management and Schedule Performance Index monitoring.
• Lead forensic and delay analyses to support claims and project reviews.
• Produce visual dashboard reports and summary presentations for senior stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven senior scheduling experience in infrastructure sectors such as rail, utilities, aviation, civil, ports, transport or defence.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in client‑embedded, collaborative environments.
• Eligibility for Baseline Defence Clearance is advantageous.

Required skills

• Advanced Primavera P6 proficiency.
• Experience with Safran, Acumen Fuse or Primavera Risk (preferred).
• Power BI for data visualisation and dashboard creation.
