Engineer III, DevOps, NG-SIEM (Remote, AUS)

About the role

CrowdStrike is seeking a senior engineer to own the health, performance, and reliability of its NG‑SIEM serverless cell platform. You will operate the world’s largest SIEM platform, building automation and self‑healing systems that enable seamless scaling of petabyte‑scale data.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain LogScale cells, respond to incidents, and participate in follow‑the‑sun on‑call rotations.
• Upgrade clusters and microservices using ring‑based rollouts, deploy patches, and recover cells after failures.
• Build and maintain monitoring, SLIs, alerting, synthetic tests, and operational dashboards.
• Write Go microservices and automation scripts to reduce toil and enable self‑healing.
• Collaborate with product engineering and customer support to troubleshoot production issues.

Required profile

• 7+ years of SRE, platform engineering, or infrastructure operations experience at scale.
• Strong understanding of large‑scale distributed systems, capacity planning, and resource optimization.
• Proven ability to write automation in Go, Python, Java or similar.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, OCI, GCP) and IaC tools (Terraform, Pulumi).
• Excellent written and verbal communication for runbooks and incident reports.
