Engagement Officer

About the role

The Engagement Officer will support community and stakeholder engagement campaigns for the National Fire Ant Eradication Program, helping protect Queensland's environment and communities.

Key responsibilities

• Support delivery of engagement campaigns, ensuring activities align with program objectives and timelines.
• Coordinate engagement activities, manage competing priorities and achieve project milestones.
• Provide exceptional customer service to community members, stakeholders and internal clients.
• Manage enquiries using the program's client relationship management system.
• Identify, escalate and assist with sensitive issues, complaints and reputational risks.
• Liaise with external service providers and stakeholders to support project delivery.
• Use program systems and mapping tools to plan, coordinate and report on engagement activities.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, systems and service delivery outcomes.
