Engagement Officer – Communications

About the role

Canberra Grammar School is looking for a creative and highly organised Engagement Officer to tell the stories of its vibrant community. The role spans stakeholder engagement, publications, internal communications and content creation, supporting enrolment marketing, brand awareness and major school initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Produce compelling content for digital, print and internal channels, showcasing school events and community moments.
• Develop and maintain high‑quality marketing assets and ensure consistent messaging across audiences.
• Collaborate with staff, alumni, families and external partners to deliver memorable events and campaigns.
• Support internal communications, publications and stakeholder engagement initiatives.
• Assist with enrolment marketing and brand awareness activities.

Required profile

• Relevant tertiary qualification in marketing, communications, public relations, media or related field.
• 3–5 years’ experience in corporate or internal communications.
• Strong writing and editing ability, adaptable to diverse audiences.
• Excellent organisational skills with the capacity to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Valid ACT Working with Vulnerable People Card, current National Police Check and full Australian work rights.
