Energy Management & ESG Transformation Partner

About the role

ERM is seeking an experienced professional to lead its ESG Data Management team at Partner or Consulting Director level, based in Sydney. The firm's ESG Data Management services build frameworks that support clients' energy transition, regulatory compliance, sustainability performance and business decisions. You will lead complex projects, grow the practice, and advise some of Australia's largest organisations.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the growth strategy for the ESG Data Management practice, identify market opportunities and introduce AI, automation and emerging technologies
• Build, mentor and develop teams across the Sydney and Melbourne offices
• Act as senior point of contact for key clients, advising on ESG data management, sustainability reporting, emissions accounting and energy data frameworks
• Lead large-scale ESG data management and sustainability reporting engagements from design through implementation, managing project risks and quality
• Develop commercial strategies, lead proposals and presentations, and maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities
• Manage relationships with key software partners and cross-sell other ERM services

Required profile

• BS/MS in accounting, finance, business information systems, engineering, sustainability or environmental management or related fields
• Demonstrated expertise in ESG data management, GHG accounting and sustainability reporting
• Proven track record of business development, account growth and revenue generation
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and managing several large projects at once
• Established network in the ESG data management and sustainability reporting community
• Significant expertise in sectors affected by Australia's energy transitions and ASRS reporting requirements
