Emergency Veterinarian (Part‑time) at ARH Essendon Fields

About the role

Join one of Melbourne's leading multidisciplinary referral hospitals as an Emergency Veterinarian. You will work within a 24/7 Emergency & Critical Care service, collaborating with specialists, registrars and a skilled nursing team.

Key responsibilities

• Provide emergency and critical care to a diverse range of pets across Victoria.
• Collaborate with specialists and registrars on complex cases and participate in case discussions.
• Rotate through varied shifts including days, evenings, overnights and weekends.

Required profile

• Registered (or eligible for registration) as a Veterinarian in Victoria.
• Passionate about emergency medicine with at least two years of clinical experience or prior ECC experience.
• Positive team player, calm and adaptable in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Experience with advanced diagnostics such as MRI, CT, Fluoroscopy, Endoscopy and Ultrasound.
• Proficiency using in‑house IDEXX laboratory equipment and ABL90 FLEX blood‑gas analyser.
