Electromechanical Site Manager – Snowy 2.0 Hydropower Project

About the role

The Future Generation Joint Venture is seeking an experienced Electromechanical Site Manager to lead EM installations on the Snowy 2.0 pumped‑hydro project in the Snowy Mountains, NSW. You will coordinate civil, mechanical, electrical and hydraulic trades to ensure the project meets its schedule, quality, safety and environmental targets.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all electromechanical installation activities on‑site, ensuring alignment with construction programmes and milestones.
• Coordinate multi‑trade activities, resolve scheduling, safety or resource issues, and maintain daily progress reports.
• Monitor compliance with quality plans, Inspection Test Plans, and relevant health‑and‑safety regulations.
• Prepare corrective action plans to mitigate schedule risks and communicate status to senior management.
• Manage budgeting, contractual frameworks and resource allocation for EM works.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in large‑scale construction operations, preferably in hydropower or similar infrastructure projects.
• Tertiary qualification in Mechanical, Civil or related engineering discipline.
• Proven leadership, coordination and problem‑solving abilities in multi‑trade environments.
• Valid White Card and ability to read complex construction drawings.
