Electrical Supervisor – High Voltage Transmission

About the role

The role places an experienced high‑voltage electrical supervisor at the forefront of substation installation for one of Australia’s largest renewable energy transmission projects. You will lead crews and subcontractors to deliver safe, compliant, and on‑time electrical works across a 240 km transmission network.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise the installation of high‑voltage substations from equipment set‑out through to handover.
• Coordinate crews and subcontractors to ensure work meets specifications, standards and code of practice.
• Conduct hold‑point and witness‑point inspections before work proceeds.
• Enforce zero‑tolerance safety and environmental practices on site.
• Manage documentation and reporting for all electrical activities.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a high‑voltage electrical supervisor on large transmission or substation projects.
• Strong knowledge of relevant standards, codes of practice and safety regulations.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage subcontractors.
• Excellent problem‑solving and decision‑making skills in a field environment.
