Electrical Engineer – Resources and Industry Projects

About the role

AECOM’s Electrical, Instruments & Controls Team in Brisbane is expanding and seeks Professional and Senior Electrical Engineers to support major mining, heavy industry and resources projects. You will work in a dynamic consulting environment, applying your expertise in HV/LV, instrumentation, controls and communications.

Key responsibilities

• Design and specify industrial and mining power, electrical, instrument and control systems, including HV/LV distribution, controls, communications and safety systems.
• Produce engineering documentation such as technical drawings, specifications, datasheets, scopes of work and material requisitions.
• Integrate vendor packages and ensure compliance with relevant industry standards.
• Collaborate with clients and provide project management support as you develop under senior mentorship.

Required profile

• Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering with at least 2 years of relevant design experience.
• Current knowledge of industry standards and their application in compliant designs.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a team, share knowledge and support colleagues’ development.
