Electrical and Instrumentation Manager

About the role

Coogee Chemicals is seeking an experienced Electrical and Instrumentation Manager to support the Engineering Services Manager in delivering E,I&C project deliverables across the business. This senior leadership position will oversee a multidisciplinary team while also providing hands‑on technical support when required.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a team of seven E&I professionals to deliver EI&C aspects of site projects.
• Develop project plans, manage budgets and ensure timely, high‑quality delivery.
• Liaise with stakeholders, contractors and internal teams to coordinate activities.
• Prepare technical documentation, specifications, drawings and reports.
• Provide technical support and problem‑solving during project execution.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards and safety requirements.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years’ experience as an Electrical or Instrumentation Engineer in chemicals, resources or manufacturing.
• Proven ability to lead a multidisciplinary EI&C team.
• Strong project management experience delivering complex engineering projects.
• Excellent problem‑solving and analytical abilities.

Required skills

• Familiarity with Australian and International electrical and instrumentation standards.
