Field Execution Coordinator

About the role

The Field Execution Coordinator supports the Control of Work (CoW) team at bp Kwinana Terminal, focusing on Project Bluesky activities that de‑inventory and de‑energise legacy refinery equipment. The role ensures safe permit issuance, isolation planning and field execution alignment between contractors and operations.

Key responsibilities

• Issue and manage Control of Work permits, ensuring all control measures are in place before work starts.
• Develop, review and confirm isolation plans, record isolations, and coordinate isolation activities with the on‑shift operations team.
• Validate isolation integrity, witness breaking of containment, and ensure safe site conditions at shift changes and work completion.
• Stop work if permit conditions are not followed or unsafe situations arise.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience with control of work and permit systems, supervising contractors in field work.
• Experience developing or peer‑checking isolation plans and operating procedures in oil & gas or similar high‑risk environments.
• Strong risk‑management background and ability to work safely in high‑risk settings.
• Self‑directed, organised and committed to a speak‑up safety culture.
