eLearning Engagement & IT Support Officer

About the role

Acknowledge Education, part of the UP Education Group, is looking for an eLearning Engagement & IT Support Officer for its national eLearning team in Melbourne CBD. Reporting to the eLearning Design Manager, you will provide frontline support for learning technologies, classroom systems and student management platforms, working with academic staff, student services, compliance teams and IT so that digital learning environments run smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Provide real-time support to academic staff using Moodle, RTO Manager and classroom technologies
• Assist students with LMS access, online learning tools and digital resources
• Maintain and update student results in the Student Management System
• Manage support requests through the Jira ticketing system, escalating where needed
• Prepare and set up Moodle courses for new teaching periods, including materials, assessments, gradebooks and settings
• Maintain student records and enrolment-related activities in RTO Manager
• Troubleshoot LMS, SMS and classroom technology issues
• Facilitate staff development workshops and training with the eLearning team
• Gather feedback on digital learning and contribute to continuous improvement

Required profile

• Relevant qualification in Information Technology, Information Management or a related field
• Demonstrated experience using and administering Moodle, and supporting RTO Manager
• Experience with Jira or similar ticketing systems
• Strong troubleshooting, organisational and communication skills
• Current Employee Working with Children Card
• Desirable: data analysis and reporting (including Power BI), understanding of instructional design, and experience in higher or vocational education
