Senior Expert, Enterprise Semantics and Knowledge Graph

About the role

nbn is looking for a Senior Expert, Enterprise Semantics and Knowledge Graph, reporting to the General Manager of Data Science & Delivery in the Chief Data Office. The role leads nbn's enterprise semantic data and knowledge capability, developing the strategy, standards, governance and frameworks that underpin AI-ready data. It works across business and technology teams to drive the adoption of ontologies, mature the Enterprise Knowledge Graph, establish semantic governance and enable business domains to manage semantic assets.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the enterprise semantic data and knowledge capability and develop its strategy, standards, governance and frameworks.
• Drive the adoption of ontologies and mature the Enterprise Knowledge Graph.
• Establish semantic governance and enable business domains to manage semantic assets.
• Create a shared understanding of nbn's core business entities, processes, products, networks and customers to support trustworthy AI, intelligent automation and data-driven decisions.
• Deliver measurable business outcomes through the Enterprise Knowledge Graph.

Required profile

• Experience working across both business and technology teams.
• Proven ability to operate within enterprise-scale governance environments.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills.
• Full working rights in Australia; the role is permanent and full time.
