ECC Vet Nurse - ARH Brisbane (Part-Time & Casual)

About the role

ARH Brisbane is looking for Emergency and Critical Care (ECC) nurses for its emergency department, with part-time and casual opportunities. You will work closely with ECC veterinarians and specialists, providing hands-on, advanced nursing support to a wide range of emergency cases. You will be mentored by ECC Team Leader Tailah and Nursing Manager Jenna, and join a close-knit team that values patient care, collaboration and a friendly atmosphere.

Required profile

• Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or equivalent, with at least 3 years of nursing experience in a busy general practice, or in a referral (specialist hospital) or emergency setting.
• Availability to work a variety of shifts across a 24/7 rotating roster.
• Friendly, easy-going nature, able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong work ethic, efficiency and multitasking ability.
• Demonstrated experience delivering high-quality patient care under busy conditions.

Required skills

• Advantageous: proficiency in anaesthetic monitoring and nursing of critical and ventilated patients.
• Advantageous: familiarity with RX Works, Smartflow and Idexx blood machines.
