Dragline Operator

About the role

Reporting to the Dragline Supervisor, you will operate our 8050 and 8750 draglines safely and professionally at our Queensland mining sites. The role requires a proactive approach to equipment handling and teamwork to meet production targets.

Key responsibilities

• Operate draglines in accordance with Anglo American safety and operating systems.
• Set up draglines, manage dig patterns and optimise machine performance.
• Collaborate with the team to achieve daily production targets while maintaining a safe work environment.
• Ensure compliance with all site safety procedures and reporting requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 months competent dragline operating experience.
• Proficient dozer operator with additional experience on graders and cable reelers.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Willingness to provide proof of operating experience.
