Donatoni Bridge Saw Operator

About the role

A leading stone fabrication specialist in Seven Hills, Sydney, is looking for a Donatoni bridge saw operator to cut slabs to spec for precision benchtop production, for residential and commercial projects. The position is permanent and full-time.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and operate the Donatoni bridge saw for benchtop production
• Plan cuts and optimise slab layouts to get the most from every slab
• Work from technical drawings, blueprints and cutting lists
• Monitor cutting cycles and adjust parameters as needed
• Inspect cut pieces for defects before they move to fabrication
• Carry out routine machine maintenance and cleaning
• Follow OH&S procedures and silica controls

Required profile

• 2+ years on a bridge saw in stone (Donatoni, Intermac, GMM or similar)
• Stonemasonry trade qualification or solid industry experience
• Reliable and safety-conscious

Required skills

• Confident reading plans, drawings and cutting lists
• Accurate slab cutting with a strong eye for detail
