Divisional Assurance Team Lead (12‑month Fixed‑Term)

About the role

The Divisional Assurance Team Lead will coordinate ANZ's Retail remediation program to meet APRA obligations. You will lead a high‑performing team, ensure governance of all milestone activities, and act as the central liaison between business units and program workstreams.

Key responsibilities

• Support delivery and coordination of remediation packages across the business.
• Manage risks, issues, dependencies and change to ensure on‑time, quality delivery.
• Create and own the engagement model for business consumption of packages.
• Serve as the link between design owners, business leads and the central program team.
• Represent Retail in Group Program meetings and remove roadblocks.
• Communicate changes and program outcomes clearly to stakeholders.
• Contribute to AR PACT SteerCo reporting and adhere to the Project Management Framework.
• Foster a culture of ownership, collaboration and stakeholder satisfaction.
• Build sustainable relationships with key stakeholders to optimise delivery.
• Enhance program management capability through continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in assurance, risk or compliance functions.
• Experience delivering regulatory remediation programs, preferably under APRA requirements.
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to coordinate across multiple business units.
• Excellent governance and project‑management capabilities.
