Dispatcher

About the role

The Dispatcher will support the daily operations of the logistics department, acting as the main liaison between internal teams, external vendors, and drivers. This role ensures smooth import and export processes, accurate freight handling, and compliance with company standards.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and control bookings, movements, and special instructions for both import and export shipments.
• Coordinate driver scheduling, routing, and provide point‑of‑contact for drivers, including POB and POD tracking.
• Perform dispatch duties such as scanning freight, accounting for freight, and providing coverage during staff leave.
• Conduct Singapore console counts, reconcile physical freight with system records, and ensure daily counts are accurate.
• Handle airline bookings, track and trace shipments, and manage relationships with sub‑contractors and vendors.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience in the life‑science or clinical‑trial logistics sector.
• Experience with import and export processes and knowledge of time‑and‑temperature requirements for clinical trials.
• Understanding of Sydney and surrounding areas and fleet operations.
• Year 12 education completion.
