Director, Research & Analysis

About the role

The Director, Research & Analysis will lead credit assessment and risk management for large corporate clients across diverse Australian industries, partnering with Relationship Managers and Credit Executives.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct in‑depth credit analysis, portfolio insights and risk assessments to support lending decisions.
• Develop and structure complex financing arrangements and tailored customer solutions.
• Monitor portfolio performance, identify emerging risks and manage high‑risk exposures.
• Provide delegated credit authority and lead a team of Analysts and Associates.

Required profile

• Strong credit skills with ability to structure complex financing arrangements.
• Demonstrated financial analysis beyond traditional accounting.
• Tertiary qualification in Commerce, Business, Accounting or Economics.
• Experience in customer management and leadership of analytical teams.
