Director of Sales, Australia

About the role

ThinkOn is seeking a senior sales leader to own and grow its Australian market. Reporting to the CRO, you will set strategy, drive pipeline, close deals and build a high‑performing sales team.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the end‑to‑end sales and channel strategy for Australia, including top‑of‑funnel growth, forecasting and pipeline management.
• Lead, coach and expand a team of three direct reports (Partner Manager, Inside Sales Rep, Solutions Architect) while personally originating and closing strategic opportunities.
• Develop and manage partner relationships to generate co‑sell and upsell motion across the region.
• Collaborate with presales, service delivery and operations to craft compelling proposals and embed AI into prospecting and pipeline processes.

Required profile

• Proven quota‑attainment record in IT, cloud or managed services, with experience selling recurring, subscription‑based solutions.
• Demonstrated ability to hire, coach and develop sales talent and to build partner ecosystems in complex channel environments.
• Financial literacy to build business cases, read P&L statements and assess ROI.
• Comfortable working remotely from Greater Sydney with regular early‑morning coordination with the Toronto leadership team.
