Director of Sales (Australia, Hybrid)

About the role

Attentive is seeking a strategic, commercially driven Director of Sales to lead its Enterprise and Mid‑Market sales team in Australia and act as the senior regional leader, overseeing performance, reputation and growth.

Key responsibilities

• Own the region’s commercial performance, market presence and strategic direction.
• Lead and manage the sales team to consistently meet or exceed revenue targets.
• Develop and execute sales strategies for the Australian and APAC markets aligned with global objectives.
• Drive transition from a single‑product SMS motion to a multi‑product platform strategy (SMS, Email, AI).
• Maintain rigorous forecasting, pipeline management and deal review processes.
• Build strong relationships with local Customer Success, Support, Implementation and Sales Development teams and influence priorities across matrixed structures.
• Represent Attentive at industry events and client engagements to build brand credibility and pipeline.

Required profile

• 8+ years of B2B enterprise SaaS sales experience, with at least 3 years in senior sales leadership managing quota‑carrying teams.
• Proven ability to operate beyond pure sales, influencing cross‑functional teams and taking ownership of regional outcomes.
• Track record of developing and executing sales strategies that deliver against ambitious targets in high‑growth environments.
• Experience leading multi‑product sales motions or transitioning teams to platform selling.
• Strong executive presence and ability to build relationships with C‑suite decision‑makers.
• Excellent analytical, forecasting and data‑driven decision‑making capabilities.
